As we have had our first full weekend of sporting events and despite the very hot weather I thought I would do a quick blog.
Firstly we went and watched Hawthorn United 1st team v Vikings up at FDC Open Academy in Norwich. Hawthorn’s worked well as a team with stringing passes together to win 9-0 but nothing can be taken away from the Vikings as they didn’t let their heads drop and kept digging in. Both teams made good end to end football.
On Sunday we went to Hill Farm Hethel to their second pleasure ride “The Harvest Ride” with 68 riders it was a good turn out with great riding which everyone enjoyed. Marion has sorted out things for the last family show on 13th September.
On our sidecar front the boys had their first meeting at Cadwell Park with BEMSEE. Still making progress and after the first round of the British Sidecar Championship they sit 7th overall.
So I would like to say well done to everyone who competed at the weekend in the heat.
