We have been going with Gorleston res for their matches since lockdown #2 was lifted.
Their first game back was away to Watton where they played well to walk away with all 3 points with a 3-0 win. They then had home game with East Harling who did well to come away with a point as Gorleston were playing well with being 2-0 in front just to lost consideration and East Harling came back to draw 2-2.
The last game before Christmas saw the lads on the road again this time travelling to Attleborough Town who are sitting 2nd in the league and Gorleston were putting out a young side. They held their own but Attleborough got into their stride and got 2 goals, the Gorleston youngest kept playing hard and were rewarded with two goals to get back level but unfortunately they couldn’t hold on and Attleborough pushed ahead again to get another 2 goals to take the 3 points with the final score 4-2. They will be playing again on the 2nd January and on the road again this time to Thetford (fingers crossed)
We have also done the Christmas jumper show at Easton Collage for Carleton Riding Club last weekend, well done to everyone who took part and making themselves and ponies look Christmasy.
Hope you all have a good Christmas and remember to follow the rules so we can all get back to watching and taking part in our sports for 2021.
Happy Christmas everyone
