We have been busy over the last few weeks since our last blog.
Hawthorn’s are going from strength and strength with their pre season and first league matches,
August 30th 4-0 win over Beccles Town
September 5th 3-1 win over Normanston Magpies
and with no match the next week the team had to be happy with themselves as they are starting to play as a unit moving up and down the pitch as one.
19th September saw the first team coming away with the 3 points from their 1st league match against Norton Athletic Res.
Also we have covered the Norfolk individual cycle speedway championship being held at Hethersett Hawks. With the current situation they are holding 2 groups each Sunday of September, the first Sunday saw the under 8’s and girls/ ladies.
Under 8’s was won by Luca of Hethersett and the girls/ ladies was won by Josie of Norwich Stars.
Last weekend was under 13’s and seniors with Mason winning the under 13’s and Craig winning seniors both of Hethersett.
We also covered the final show at Hill Farm Hethel which was a great success with the current situation and a good turn out. Well done to Marion for getting it all sorted.
